Yeah it would've been cool if it had a lode of XLRs and things like the H6. Wander what happened that it didn't last long. None of the pro stores like Sweet Water took on to it is 1 big thing me thinks. Or American Musical Supply.

I’m not saying that the Olympus recorder is a total wast of time, you just have
to be careful with how its used if you’re using the microphones and its a pity
that the recorder doesn’t have more inputs to make multi track recording truly
useful.

Ah yeah Neal thought the LS-100 wouldn't do well out doors what with that issue
of the wind getting into the switches and stuff. What up with that I wander? I
didn't worry about it cause had I got 1 I would mostly use my AT-8022 as I will
do with the H6 once it's here.

It would seem that the mics are an accessory for the F8N and they're easily

I thought about selling my H6 but.. well.. with all the prices tumbling I may
as well keep the H6 as a very good backup recorder, its easy to start the
machine recording for example whereas the F8N could very well take a bit of
setting up? We'll see.
The recorder I will rid myself of is the Olympus LS-100.
In theory the Olympus is a damn good recorder and that's the theory, its no
good for outdoor work as wind gets into the recorder.
Multi track recording is a bit of a problem, I've managed to get around this
but it is a real pain in the bum when compared to the way the Zoom H6 does
things.

Hi Mate.

I will, though all I've got is from YouTube so easily available.

No microphones is correct so I'm going to check out the cost of the Right Side
and X Y microphones and if they are not tooo expensive, try and get these also.

I already have the H6 but hoping to sell it to a friend.

Incidentally, they have come right down in price. I think Gear 4 are selling a
brand new H6 for just over £200.

Very best wishes.

Andy.

If you mean materials on the F8n, send them this way if you would please.
Dude if I'd had the $900 I'd get 1. Oh insedentaly as you say, you do have
mikes right? I'm not so sure the F8N comes with mikes. Though you could
snapp on any of the ones for the H5 and H6.

Hi Guys.

Trying to follow this thread and note that one of you is looking for Neal
Ewars's podcast on the Zoom H6.

Here it is and very much worth listening to and keeping.

incidentally, Gear 4 in London are hoping to ship the new Zoom F8n by the
23rd of August, and my order is going in on Friday.

Anyone interested in materials that I have gathered this far, please
don't hesitate to contact me.

Very best wishes.
