Playlist editor is very nice. Equalizer is great and you can easily save your settings. Everything is pretty much available with a single keystroke. I think people also like the CD player-style key controls on the bottom row (from left to right it's skip back, play, pause, stop and skip forward) because it makes them feel that they are using a physical player with actual control buttons. Oh, and it has a rather nice pre-amp as well. There were loads of plugins you could use, although I'm not sure how well the plugin database works nowadays.

What made it such a big thing with the blind? Maybe I didn't give it much a chance. But actually the 1 I used felt odd. But I only tried it. But seeing it doesn't have SRS Wow like Media Player does, I don't use it much. Meh I've tried it for streaming but that's about all. I do know lots of people love WinAmp. I have homies that do.
