Playlist editor is very nice. Equalizer is great and you can easily save your 
settings. Everything is pretty much available with a single keystroke. I think 
people also like the CD player-style key controls on the bottom row (from left 
to right it's skip back, play, pause, stop and skip forward) because it makes 
them feel that they are using a physical player with actual control buttons. 
Oh, and it has a rather nice pre-amp as well. There were loads of plugins you 
could use, although I'm not sure how well the plugin database works nowadays.

Tom for those of us who have only kinda run across WinAmp. What made it such a 
big thing with the blind? Maybe I didn't give it much a chance. 
But actually the 1 I  used felt odd. But I only tried it. But seeing it doesn't 
have SRS Wow like Media Player does, I don't use it much. Meh I've tried it for 
streaming but that's about all. I do know lots of people love WinAmp. I have 
homies that do.
