Hi,
I received my new Apple TV on Tuesday so I won’t go on about it since the topic
has been covered extensively on list as is.
One function I use a lot is the Bluetooth connectivity whether I’m connecting
to a Bluetooth Keyboard, Braille Display or Audio device.
The latter of the 3 devices is interesting as it means you can use the
bluetooth Headset or Speaker of your choice for audio output thus illuminating
the need for any HDMI conversion adapters or even the purchase of a
Surround-Sound receiver.
I have a Surround-Sound unit in my Entertainment room however the use of my B&W
T7 as an audio output device is no doubt convenient.
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to access the Plex App and that leaves me a little
disappointed however there may be other ways around that.
All the “Catch-Up” Free-To-Air Apps seem perfectly useable which is a huge
plus. I have other Set Top Box units under the Android System and the Apps are
Bitter Sweet there, some are easy to use whilst others are not.
Siri seems to work as well as I had hoped.
I hope that Apple consider building support into the Apple TV for hearing
devices such as hearing instruments etc as Apple have done with IOS devices and
if Apple do that then the Apple TV is an excellent piece of equipment which is
just about as perfect as one can get.
