Not these days.
The Raspberry Pi has come one hell of a long way in the 6 years I’ve been using 
the machines and they’re used in all sorts of commercial applications now, 
everything from audio field recorders to voice assistants and even - as I’ve 
already pointed out - Braille Displays.
