I'm the last to defend Humanware but I do give credit where its due. The Stream is an awful creation and could be improved upon but using LYNUX as the operating system for the device was a great idea meaning that much of the firmware needed was already available so only minor modifications were required to get the product going and adapt it for visually impaired people. The Raspberry Pi runs LYNUX as well. Humanware have gotten some things right and one of those is the Braillenote Touch which also uses a widely available operating system in the form of Android - which is another form of LYNUX -.
