Hello List: I don't know if this is even doable, but I've got to try as I
don't know that I have any other way of having a recording of something; I
was editing this file with MP3 Direct Cut; I was at a point where I wasn't
sure that I had messed up or not, so I figured I'd exit out and start over;
I got the message that it wasn't finished and did I want to cancel or
continue, so I said, "cancel!" Next thing I knew, the file (at least as far
as I knew) was _not_ in MP3 Direct Cut, but was still showing where I had
put the file on the computer (actually on my external hard drive) so I
figured I'd restart the computer! Well when I did this, then that file was
no longer appearing! My question is, would creating a "restore point" bring
it back? I don't know if I can get any other recording of this particular
thing that I recorded (and it most likely _will not_ be replayed! BTW-I
know very little about creating a restore point, so hopefully (if this will
even work) I'm gonna need some instruction with that too! Thanks for
reading and hope someone out there can help me retrieve this file.that is.if
it's retrievable
