Hello list: I actually posted a similar question last night as I somehow have lost a music file; I had tried to use Restore to hopefully bring it back, but was told later that all that "Restore" will do is bring back programs, documents and such! Somehow (am not really sure how) but I lost a music file while editing this file in MP3 Direct Cut! For those that didn't see my post of last night, at first, I could still access the file on my computer (more like my external hard drive) but could not see it in MP3 Direct Cut; it was like as far as MP3 Direct Cut was concerned, this file didn't exist! I decided to restart the computer (a windows 10 machine) it was then I discovered that I no longer could see that file in the place where it had been before, so am trying to determine if it is buried somewhere or if it's just _gone_ and there is absolutely _no way_ to bring it back (which I hope is not the case because, I don't know if I can find anyone who has a recording of this particular thing that is on this file, so if anyone can suggest things I could try to see if that file is still on that external hard drive somewhere! I have tried searches in Windows (to no avail) I do have another program I could try, but I sort of doubt that it'll tell me anything either, so if someone can come up with things I might try that'll help me locate and access this file, that would be greatly appreciated!
