Why? Because that's the attitude that M$ and other commercial vendors take - sell the feature and ignore major annoying defects. Right now the feature set of OpenOffice is fine, fix defects and optimize the code. Sure, it's not as fun to fix existing code as it is to add features, but when a product is so painful to use because it's taking the better part of an hour just to open a moderate-size file that Excel can open in seconds (even with NAV running it still takes under a minute) I'd consider that to actually be a P1, fatal defect because such performance issues alienate customers and turn them to alternatives, even if they cost more (e.g., several hundred vs. free). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
