Open the attached file "object border disappearing when saving.odp". Notice the
presence of some text objects with clearly visible red borders.
After that save the file with another name, and close it.
Now open the newly saved version (you can open the attached "object borders
disappeared after save.odp" if you want it ready made).
Inexplicably, in the new file all text objects that were red bordered DO NOT
SHOW THEIR BORDERS anymore, either in edit or presentation view! The thing is
inconsistent too, since if you select one of this objects you see in the toolbar
that the borders should be there, be red, be 0,05 cm. wide.
Now save with a new name again. When opening the third version, red borders will
be there again. But do not rejoice, because if you save a newly named file for
the 4th time they won't show in that.
I did not prove it more than six or seven times, but it seems that every two
savings the situation repeats itself forever.
Last note: in other instances the problem applies to other objects like lines
and arrows, not only to text objects borders.
