------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Oct 6 04:09:18 -0700 2005 ------- Yesterday, bad thing happend to me. Well, it was not so bad, 'cause I found a bug (or maybe a feature). Ok, here's my story. My internet provider was out of service. So I couldn't get the internet works. And suddenly it takes about 30s to start office (apparently it was looking for something on net), use a command like this: $ ~/openoffice.org2.0/program/soffice I tried to stop the network # ifconfig eth0 stop and it helped. This time it takes only 4s. Conclusion? If your internet connection is broken (or too slow), it takes too long to start OpenOffice. Either you need good working connection or no connection at all. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
