I probably click right on the cell, maybe 20% of the time out of habit. For 
every cell that I insert a note on I want the note to always be visible on 
the spreadsheet and on the final printout. To make the note permanently 
visible you click right on the cell and select [show note]. For the 
particular spreadsheet I use, which I complete every week I probably click 
right on a cell and select [show note] maybe 30 times. Because I do this so 
frequently sometimes I do it before I have actually inserted the note. This 
then triggers the bug as described. Of course I could also have been 
clicking right on the cell and selecting [format cells] or any of the other 
options. Just the mere fact of clicking right on the cell to view the menu 
will trigger the bug.

I know how to get round the bug, (don't click right on the cell first) however 
that's not really the point, the fact is clicking right on the cell, maybe 
formatting the cell then inserting the note should not cause the resizing 
arrows to vanish on the inserted note.

This bug is 100% reproducible. Let me know if you need any further information.
