------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Feb 4 11:34:48 -0800 2005 ------- The problem is reproducible in Linux 2.4.26 #1 SMP. If we work in the box, and insert special character, the save icon is still disable. It only turns on, if we click out of the edit box or we press on any key (except Del, Shift, Caps Lock, Ctrl, Alt and F# key)) on the keyboard even the left/right arrow, insert key. However, it works fine for regular characters or inserting other things (graphics, files, spreadsheet...) In addition, if we press Del key, the text after cursor will be deleted. However, the save icon is not enable until we exit the box or press any key. This issue also happens in Ooo1.1.3, Ooo1.1.4 on Windows 2000 SP3 and Window XP build 2600. I agree with the prority (P4) of the defect since inserting a special character is seldomly used. Also, there is a workaround solution, if saving the file is required by pressing/entering other keys/characters. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
