------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Feb 4 11:35:07 -0800 2005 ------- I replicated the bug with OOo 1.1.2 and Window XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2. Here are the replication steps: 1.Open a new text document. 2.Begin tracking changes. <Edit -> Changes -> Record> 3.Type text âThe quick brown dog jumps over the lazy fox. The quick brown dog jumps over the lazy fox. The quick brown dog jumps over the lazy fox. The quick brown dog jumps over the lazy fox.â 4.Accept the change. <Edit -> Changes -> Accept or Reject> 5.Examine the statistics of the document. <File -> Properties -> Statistics> The number of words is 36. 6.Delete all the text in the document, then examine the statistics. The number of words is 36. 7.Type the same text back in the document, then examine the statistics. The number of words is 72. I performed a follow up test in which I accepted each change before examing the satistics. The statistics correctly reflect both insertion and removal changes. When user tracks changes, the number of words and characters in the statictis remains the same after removal occurs unless user accepts this change before examining the statistics. Since user doesn't need to accept any insertion change, I think it is consistent that the statistics function automatically update to reflect removal changes as well. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
