Assuming you're an native speaker of English, what do you think is the correct
fix: not autocorrecting naive to naïve in the first place or adding naïve to
the dictionary? I'm not a native speaker, but my dictionary says naïve and
naive are both correct (no mention of British vs. American English). In that
case, we shouldn't autocorrect to naïve.
