thanks for the additional comments! reproduced on WinXP Pro SP2 w OOo 2.0.1 RC2
mav: this issue is related to issue 41588 you were working on, so I give it to
you:
open the file attached to issue 41588 Testtemplate.dot, notice the titlebar
says "Untitled", format all the text as bold, then try to save following the
reporters comments: you get these I/O errors.
