------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Jan 10 08:32:19 -0800 2006 ------- Currently OLE objects do not contain the meta.xml stream. This should be changed for at least two reasons: 1. For some fixes we need a reliable generator information for the content of the OLE object's streams. The generator of the parent document needs not to be the same as the one of the OLE object. 2. Document variables, like filled-in fields in a form, will get lost after saving a document as OLE object. It has to be decided which kind of information should be written to the OLE object's meta.xml stream with respect to actuality and privacy. That is, it should not be necessary to update the OLE object's meta information when doing a "Save As" (actuality). Sensitive things like the author should probably not be written. For the parent document there is a checkbox in the Document Info for deciding whether sensitive information should be written or not. Using this information also for OLE objects would require loading all of them (which is not practical). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
