------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jan 12 03:09:19 -0800 2006 ------- OpenOffice is a unicode application. The characters in the Special Characters dialog are in unicode order. There are only control characters in the unicodes 129 to 160. Nothing to see and nothing to display. Before unicode became prevalent there were many many, way too many different encodings. For an overview of all these obsolete encodings and how they map to unicode have a look at the conversion tables at http://www.unicode.org/Public/MAPPINGS. One of these is e.g. the old 8-bit MSFT1250 encoding (http://www.unicode.org/Public/MAPPINGS/VENDORS/MICSFT/WINDOWS/CP1250.TXT), which you seem to like and expect. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
