------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Feb 14 15:46:44 -0800 2005 ------- Created a large spreadsheet with dummy values similar in structure to the original document, which shows even more extreme variation in speed between saving to .ODS vs. Microsoft Office 97-2003 format. The attached document (id=22626) takes approximately 2 mins and 19 seconds to save on my workstation when saved to .ODS format but only about 7 seconds to save as a .XLS (Excel 97-2003 format) document. The ODS document is only 102 KB vs. the resulting Excel formatted document which is 2634 KB, which appears very efficient in terms of storage size, but I'd much rather give up the storage instead of the speed! Thanks!
