Hm - cannot reproduce here. Are you sure that it really does not work?
Industrial is the default on Gnome - so if you set 'Automatic' there, you'll
see the Industrial icons. So - please test with all the themes.
If you are sure that it really does not work, please close OOo, move away your
~/.openoffice.org2 (or what is the settings directory of your distro/the
packages you are using) to eg. ~/.openoffice.org2.orig, and start OOo again so
that it creates the default configuration & try again.
Setting to WORKSFORME, please re-open if it does not work even after the
re-generation of the settings directory.
