But the behaviour was quite strange, there still might be a bug lurking somewhere. Printing never worked because OOo always tried to print a letter size paper when A4 was selected. After printing the OO.o print settings have reverted to letter. I used 1.1.3 from FC3 RPM package and 1.1.4 from OO.o web site. AFAIK OO.o uses cups for printing so this might be also a cups issue.
