------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Aug 24 19:16:12 -0700 2006 ------- Hi, I installed OO.org 2 when it first came out. My account was an administrator account on winxp. Everthing worked fine. I uninstalled it when 2.03 came out and then installed the new version. At the time of re-install, I removed my admin privileges and set up a separate admin user account. When I installed, I installed from my user account using Run as... The install worked fine. However, after installation, the file associations for OO.org files were broken for the user account. They are fine for the admin account. I have trying repairs and reinstalls and nothing works. From what I can see, this is an error in the permissions set in the local_machine registry. The associations permissions are not inherited and the "ComputerName\Users" have no access to them. I can right click and say open with... which works, but they associations don't stick. Me thinks you have a defect here that needs to be fixed. BTW I installed for All users. I could not find a similar issue in the issue tracker though I know something similar exists. thanks, Jon --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
