I've now changed this to a formatting issue. After more testing I found that if
you have numbers in a text type cell and you then change the format of the cell
back to a number type, then the quote (') symbol gets put in front of the
number. This symbol only shows up in the equation bar when the cell is selected.
And even worse is that Find & Replace can't even see the quote character so it's
not possible to remove it by that means.
