That is a valid comment.
Thus I asked the the colleague who is in general charge of the API and checked
if he thinks (like me) that this is a documentation error or that for sake of
keeping the current semantic of the API the existing implementation in Writer
(which not lived up to the documentation) should be changed to match the
documentaton.
And while thinking about that, having in mind that there are the other
implementation of this interface may actually go in line with the documentation.

The outcome was that he agreed with me that there is no real reason to have such
a statement in the IDL and thus it should be treated as a documentation bug.
