I have a simple two line file containing a name and phone number. When I open
the file using File/Open
it works file, but when I click on the file's icon on the desktop, I get the
following error:

sh: -c: line 1: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"
sh: -c: line 2: syntax error: unexpected end of file

The icon on the screen looks like an open office page so I thing the operating
system recognizes the
file type correctly.

The file happens to be named: Dianes's Cell Number.odt

When I rename the file to: Dianes Cell Number.odt the problem goes away.

I guess I shouldn't use apostrophies in file names. But I find it odd that the
File/Open works and the
icon click activation fails, FYI
