I've been working with OO for a week or two - I have 2.0 beta 3, but I wasn't able to find that in the pull-down menu. I do a lot of writing (thus the moniker aMusedPen:-) I'd like to move away from Microsoft Word, and I really like OO except . . . I miss Word's grammar checker with all the statistics. I find myself saving documents in Word format so I can use that feature, as well as using my Dictionary.app so my editor doesn't think I'm a complete boob. Just a note about how I go about my editing process (a personal thing I suppose). After I've written a piece, I run it through the spelling/grammar check in Word. Then I paste it into a program I found called Tofu. All it does is show it in columns like a newspaper, but I've found that reading through my stuff in that format brings out things I never saw on a normal page. Okay, just some thoughts. I think you have a great product, and the price is unbeatable (I did contribute). I'll probably keep using Word until my version is obsolete, but I'll keep an eye on OO Writer to see enhancements.
