------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 19 07:30:43 -0800 2006 ------- I use openoffice (680) on Fedora core 6 [openoffice.org-*-2.0.4-5.5.3] and am having problems printing in oowriter or oocalc. When I try to print (File -> print), the print popup comes up, and the the whole openoffice session freezes/hangs and is unusable and the only way to proceed is to kill the openoffice session. This problem seems to happen when the number of printers available (I use CUPS for printing) is more than 227 (I have more than 500 print queues). If I reduce the number of my CUPS print queues (to 227), openoffice does not hang and I can also print, but having more than 227 printers seems to be a problem. Is there a way I can configure openoffice to allow me to use all my 557 print queues.
