------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Mar 3 00:54:25 -0800 2005 ------- Checked again with comments from issue #36634 and issue #43795 I am still trying with .openoffice.org1.9.79" on an nfs-mounted home directory (Suse Linux 9.2 client, NFS Server: Suse Linux with 2.4.18 kernel): Setting SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING=0 in all shell scripts in /opt/openoffice.org1.7.79/programm does *not* fix the problem. Both soffice and swriter crash. Soffice crashes when I try to open a document, swriter crashes on startup. Calling soffice.bin directly does fix the problem. Opening a document works (both on a local file system and on an nfs mounted file system) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
