OTOH - the bug report is pretty unhelpful without some strace output:
Can you attach the result of:
strace -f -ttt -o /tmp/output ooffice
?
also:
cd /usr/lib/openoffice/program
./soffice.bin -writer
may give some more helpful output we can use.
OTOH - this may be an underlying bug in the 2nd starter - in which case Kendy -
this is prolly one for you.
