But I have already heard about people having a similar problem like you. These were insisted be a defected OOo configuration folder (some files in there kept wrong values). Mainly these were created by older OO 2.0.x versions. But it might be worth a try: Rename the OOo folder "c:\documents and settings\[username]\Application data\OpenOffice.org2" after ending OOo so that a new folder from the scratch will be generated on next launch of OOo. Also interesting could be: Only in OO Writer, or are Spreadsheet and Presentation/Draw also affected? Is the OO quickstarter running?
