Draw a 3cmx3cm rectangle.
Apply a single line hatching with line distance 0,5cm and 0 degrees. At 100%
zoom you will see 5 lines.
Now extrude it.

Expected behavior: The object has 5 lines on the front as in flat.
Seen behavior: There are no lines at all but only fragments in wrong spacing.

Zoom in to 400%. You see that there are lines but with wrong spacing.

There is always an error, independent of the projection mode for texture, and
independent of using traditional shapes or custom shapes or 3d fontwork form
objects.

The appearance is worse for 3d boxes in charts, both in old chart and in new
chart.

It seems to me as if a little bitmap is generated and applied to the 3d objects
with tile mode instead of generating a bitmap in the same size as the object. On
the other hand, using a texture is a bad method at all, because the 3d object
can not show the object color through the hatching. Therefore a new method is
needed for hatching 3d objects.
