It's a single additional xml attribute in the crash xml mail, I wonder if the
tooling already just discards unrecognized xml attributes ? In that case the
extra data would be ignored and the change is not incompatible. I don't know the
internal tooling of course, but it might be worth a quick look/question to the
Sun backend maintainer to see if that's the case.

The patch here makes the output useful for distributions in that they can then
point the crash mail backend at one of their own servers where they make their
own OOo build information available (in my future fantasy world I'd like to see
a shared distro repository for these reports where distros can reannotate the
reports and share their crash data with eachother).
