2007 -------
A cell which is formatted to 'number' or 'currency' with any number of 'decimal
places' changes its format to 'general' after number/value containing decimals
is copied e.g. from web page or other text source and pasted to selected and
formatted cell.

-select cell
-right click 'Format cells...'
-select 'Number' or 'Currency'
-select any number of 'Decimal places'
-copy number/value containign decimals e.g. from web page
-paste it to formatted and selected cell
-number/value output is without decimals (cell's format is 'general' without
'Decimal places'
