Ah, now I see your points. As far as I see most of the problematic cases moyogo
mentioned could be
solved by detecting them as CTL-text.
Since this issue has been way too broad at the beginning (CFF-embedding,
optional and required OT
features, ...) and converged into a task to specify a UI for optional OT
features I opened a separate issue
78749 for the "some Latin text needs CTL processing" aspect.
