The described problem from hagar_de_lest concerns the installation of a new OOo version (update) not using 'DicOOo'. The main problem here is that the default files in share/dict/ooo will be replaced during the update, especially the file 'dictionary.lst'. If you have changed the dictionary configuration, it will be lost after the update. For example the content of my share/dict/ooo folder: de_frami_neu.aff de_frami_neu.dic DicOOo.sxw dictionary.lst en_GB.aff en_GB.dic en_US.aff en_US.dic FontOOo.sxw hyph_de_DE.dic hyph_en_GB.dic hyph_en_US.dic th_de_DE_v2.dat th_de_DE_v2.idx th_en_US_v2.dat th_en_US_v2.idx During the update all files, excepting 'de_frami_neu.*' will be deleted and replaced by those of the install package. Concerning the dictionaries normally no problem, but the 'dictionary.lst' whose content is different from the older one.
