------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 26 16:19:01 +0000 2007 ------- When the autofilter is applied to a spreadsheet, and a certain designation is selected, it is very difficult to overwrite just the specific range selected. For instance, if there is a spreadsheet full of 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 in a given column, and you select only rows containing a 2 by using autofilter, it does not then allow you to copy and paste and make all the 2s into 8s. If you do, any of the rows between the rows containing 2 will be overwritten with 8s, even though they aren't displayed or selected because of autofilter. Ideal behavior would be that a row hidden by autofilter would not be editable. It is unintuitive that a selection in autofilter includes all hidden rows in-between autofilter selections. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
