------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Mar 14 09:42:42 -0800 2005 ------- Follow-up to issue 36046. REPRODUCTION: ============= 1. load bugdoc attached to issue 36046 or any other Calc document containing hebrew glyphs on Linux Alternatively create one yourself by toggeling your xkeyboard to hebrew: "setxkbmap -rules xorg -layout de,il -option grp:alt_shift_toggle" 2. export the Calc doc to PDF => unless you don't have one of HDU's famous GlyphFallback fonts set/applicable for OO.o (Lucidasans/Arial Unicode MS) the PDF doc displays blank. At least the PDF-Export from Calc does not take the user-set hebrew document font into account. This can easily be checked in acroread with "File/Document Properties/Fonts..." I tried: ======== * Gentium as TTF, * Serto Jerusalem as OTF and * NachlieliCLM as Type1 font in Calc with no succes. Only setting "Lucida Sans" in Calc worked for me. On Windows apparently GlyphFallback to "Arial Unicode MS" works. Note: ===== Writer PDF-Exports with hebrew glyphs somehow work. US->PL: you volunteered for this :-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
