Generally, it is possible to insert citations from the bibliographic programme
Citavi into OpenWriter. However, with version 2.3 (and probably some other
versions as well) this does not work. No connection can be established and
Citavi does no recognize that any Writer document is open for editing at the
moment.

Contacting the support of citavi, they tried to figure out the issue and
responded that it seems to be an internal error in OpenOffice. The logfile of
the Citavi errors is attached to this bug report.

The Citavi support team was very helpful in finding the error and is probably
interested in solving the issue as well. They can be contacted via:

Gerald
