------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Nov 21 07:16:19 +0000 2007 ------- @pmladek: I agree that your code works. But my concerns are these: 1. jfw_getSelectedJRE: it should do what the function name suggest and not more. Additional information could be returned as I indicated in the JavaInfo struct. 2.Just looking for the existence of a folder could not be enough. I would not rely on a uninstallation routine to always clean up completely the installation. For example, what happens when the user added jars to jre/lib/ext or modified other content, for example in lib/security? 3.We would like to have the same behaviour on all platforms, that is on Windows as well. As I said I think that it is a good idea to have this kind of automatism, therefore I made it an enhancement :) As for 64 bit. I has not been on my agenda yet to investigate this, because here at Hamburg we provide only 32 bit builds (so far) and the 64 bit builds have been enabled by the porting teams. So there may be bugs and inconsistencies ... --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
