I assume you're using the version of OOo which is delivered by (K)Ubuntu...
Does this happen using the "official" version of OOo loadable from
www.openoffice.org?
If this doesn't happen using "the official" OOo build:
==> seems to be a problem in (K)Ubuntus OOo-Build...
===> 2 possibilities:
-----> report a bug on Ubuntus website
-----> use the "official" build instead...
-----> report a bug on Ubuntus web site AND use the "official" build :)
just for the records: I'm using OOo2.3.1 (from www.openoffice.org) on Ubuntu
7.04 and don't get that problem...
