------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Dec 12 04:44:17 +0000 2007 ------- Gianluca, As you know from this issue and from Council discussions [0], the license of all documents within the OOo domain including subdomain is the same, as is the license policy. The About wiki page points to the wiki page on licensing, though it is cryptic. We have toyed with language resolving this but after the last firestorm none of us was keen on getting burnt again; André's argument that many may have contributed under mistaken notions is not trivial. That mistaken notion would be that the wiki has a license scheme different from that of OOo in general, ie., if you have signed the JCA then LGPL, and if you have put up PDL'd or in some cases CC'd work, then those licenses. Specifying a license for documents that OOo accepts (PDL, non-editable, CC) is logically allowed, as it is also allowed elsewhere on the domain. Otherwise, the JCA (not a license but a joint assignation) license obtains. I can put up a version of this language. I assume some will object and say that they did not know and would like their work back. That's their right privilege, though I would hope that an accommodation may be arrived at. louis [0] http://council.openoffice.org/servlets/BrowseList?list=discuss&by=thread&from=1708617 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
