Eric, once again you misinterpret me, or I misinterpret you. The CC is allowed
for noneditable work and
thus not really allowed on the wiki, where all work is supposedly editable.
However, one can
theoretically add noneditable work to the wiki (eg. a pdf or other binary);
hence my mention. It is not
particularly welcome on the wiki--I agree with Gianluca and you--and vice
versa, and is not meant for
documents. These should be in full accordance with our licenses, as they obtain
for the entire domain.
i am not --hardly-- endorsing the use of CC and thus am surprised you interpret
my comment as
stating as much. It is only permitted for noneditable work and only then
reluctantly.
Please, Eric, before you declare you agree or disagree, ask me if I really mean
this or that. ;-) Saves
mutual spats of annoyance, ne c'est pas?
Louis
