------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Dec 18 16:36:44 +0000 2007 ------- SBA-VA: As discussed, there are several ways to get "the way to write ODF" to the users attention: (1) Via Exception dictionary: - Tools - Options - Language settings - Writing Aids - In "User-defined dictionaries" section, click "NEW" - Give the dict a name, check "Exception", Select Language = [All] if needed - Click OK - In the list of user-defined dicts, check this one to enable it - Click "Edit" - In box "Word", enter odf, in box "Replace by", enter ODF, Click "New" - In box "Word", enter Odf, in box "Replace by", enter ODF, Click "New" - Click "Close" - Click "OK" -> Now "ODF" comes as a proposal for both Odf and odf IN ALL LANGUAGES (2) Add the automatic replacement "odf-> ODF" and "Odf->ODF" in all Autocorrect files (to have it for all languages) Note: "ODF" should be the same for all languages, so no translation/localisation needed. I do not know if ODF is a common abbreviation for something else in any language. But from the OOo point-of-view, Open Document Format should be "the only one" :-) (3) Add "ODF" to a user-defined dictionary (vial context menu or SpellCheck dialog) or via Tools - Options - Language Settings - Writing Aids dialog) SBA-> As a general solution, I would favor (2) + (3) as a general solution and because by default, we do not deliver exception dictionaries. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
