------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Dec 24 03:57:00 +0000 2007 ------- The initial description should be revised: I thought I had removed the debian openoffice.org install (2.3.1-2) and installed the openoffice.org development snapshot but I hadn't (still getting familiar with dpkg). When I did [correctly] remove the debian openoffice stuff and install the openoffice.org development snapshot (SRC680_m239_native_packed-2_en-US.9242), the problem also vanished.
