Well, with "Precision as shown" it also works for me. But this is a bug
anyway.
I haven't selected this option and have set the decimal places to "2". But
every number I've entered had only 1 or 2 decimal places as you can see in my
bug report. And 3.9 is the same as 3.90.
So there's no difference whether I calculate with the precision as shown,
which is 1 or 2, or with the manually set precision of 2.
3.9+0.57+1.25+0.76=6.48
3.90+0.57+1.25+0.76=6.48
Both calculations are the same and must result in the same correct result.
You were possibly right if there were more decimal places of the values
entered than shown. But as long as the entered value has the same decimal
places as the shown value and the precision which is set in the options the
result must be the same and correct.
So if I e.g. entered 3.95763 and would calculate only with a precision of 2,
with 3.95, then it is clear that the result is not really correct and can
differ from the expected result. But if I enter 3.95 and calculate with a
precision of 2, with 3.95, then the result must be correct.
So this is not such a rounding error which you think about. This is really a
bug.
