I will install now OOo 2.4 final and see what happens. Well, during install I see: ... configures Java(TM) 6 Update 4, so yes, it definitely installs Update 4. I believe this is at least also a Java bug. Also, while running SeaMonkey, OOo asks to close Seamonkey to update some files (probably java).
