PDF A/1 does not include transparency and therefore the transparency of embedded
images is removed on PDF A/1 export.

However OO.o 2.4 is not handling this well. A lot of images end up with a black
background on PDF A/1 export, so I guess OO.o export assumes the default
background color of an image is the right background color to use on export.

Please change it so removing transparency is done by composing transparent
images with the document background color (and if none is defined, white by
default). That is the only setting that will produce the kind of PDF users
expect (what they see on their screen and what they see when printing)
