by default, an installation of OOo 3.0 should update an existing 2.x
installation, user should have the option to install a 3.0 and 2.x in parallel
(isn't there already an issue for this ?).
the same applies for this issue: there should be an option to install an 2.4.x
update even if there is already an 3.x installed. but by default, the warning
that there is a newer version already installed should be displayed.
