@ mh: For the 'best solution' as you have described we've missed all due dates.
So we can
- install OOo 3.0 beside OOo 2.x (with all possible problems of mime type
registrations)
- we can update an existing OOo 2.x with OOo 3.0
I don't think that it is very useful to offer a 2.x installation when OOo 3.x is
already installed. There is no benefit for the user. Only problem may occur if
one of the offices will be uninstalled.
