Thanks for your reply,

as you described, there is always an automatic conversion of special characters
into %ASCII, but that exactly is my problem: I need the special characters to
stay in my URL, I don't want them in %ASCII. But I can't stop them from being
being automatically changed.
Is there a way or box to tick that will make Writer not convert the special
characters, such as { } or space, into ASCII? If not, this may be a defect.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Cornelia
