------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Jul 19 12:40:18 +0000 2008 ------- This has been confirmed by various users of Gentoo. Setting LC_ALL to de_DE.utf8 (de_DE is german) for example will result in /usr/bin/soffice: line 254: 8167 Speicherzugriffsfehler "$sd_prog/$sd_binary" "$@" Speicherzugriffsfehler is german for Segmentation fault. This seems to be reproducible also for other languages as users have reported the same behaviour for en_EN.UTF8 and it_IT.UTF8. I have no problems so far with LC_ALL set to de_DE or [EMAIL PROTECTED] This is what is in my /etc/locale.gen: de_DE ISO-8859-1 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ISO-8859-15 de_DE.UTF-8 UTF-8 locale -a prints out the following: C de_DE [EMAIL PROTECTED] de_DE.utf8 POSIX No such problems with version 2.4.0. Please have a look at the provided URL referring to the corresponding bug at Gentoo.
